Drive Hours Terms of Service

Last updated: October 14, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Drive Hours, an iOS application provided by Tiny Dev Studio LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using Drive Hours, you agree to these Terms.

Purpose of the app

Drive Hours helps parents and adult supervisors track a teen driver's supervised driving practice hours. It is a personal record-keeping tool. It is your responsibility to verify your state's exact licensing requirements with your local DMV/DPS/BMV — the in-app Guide is provided for reference and, where marked "Verify with your DMV," has not been confirmed against a primary source. Any state form Drive Hours can auto-fill (such as Colorado's DR 2324) is provided as a convenience; you are responsible for reviewing the filled-in form for accuracy before signing or submitting it.

Use of the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Drive Hours for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service. You agree not to misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the app.

Drive Hours Pro subscription

Drive Hours offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Drive Hours Pro, which unlocks additional drivers per account, sharing a driver with additional adults, and expanded state DMV form support beyond what's available for free.

  • Pricing and any free trial length are shown in the app and in the App Store product listing before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew for the same length and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings app → your name → Subscriptions), or via the "Manage subscription" link on the Settings tab in Drive Hours. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
  • If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use "Restore Purchases" in Drive Hours' Settings to restore an active subscription.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial period, where applicable.
  • Features that remain free regardless of subscription status — including single-driver hour logging, the state-requirements Guide, Colorado's DR 2324 export, and the Challenges feature — are not affected by subscribing or not subscribing.

Your log and sharing

You are responsible for the accuracy of the drives you record or log, and for who you share a driver with. Everyone you invite to a driver can see its drives, including GPS routes and notes, so only invite people you trust with that information. Invites are single-use and expire after 7 days; the owner can cancel an unused invite or remove someone's access at any time. Only a driver's owner can delete its driving history. See our Privacy Policy for details.

App Store terms

Drive Hours is downloaded through the Apple App Store and is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these Terms conflict with Apple's terms for App Store purchases (including subscriptions), Apple's terms govern that purchase.

Intellectual property

All content, design, and software associated with Drive Hours are owned by Tiny Dev Studio LLC or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy or redistribute them without our permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

Drive Hours is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of state licensing requirements shown in the Guide beyond what is explicitly marked as verified against a primary source.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tiny Dev Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, Drive Hours, including damages arising from reliance on state licensing information shown in the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Drive Hours after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
