Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tiny Dev Studio LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our website and the iOS applications we distribute on the Apple App Store, including Drive Hours.
Information we collect
The specific data we collect depends on which app you use and how you use it. For Drive Hours, we collect the following:
- Account information — When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. This information is used to create and identify your account.
- Drive logs — Records of supervised driving sessions you create, including date, duration, conditions (day or night), supervisor name, and any notes you add. This data is linked to your account and stored in our cloud database (Firebase Firestore).
- Usage data — We collect anonymized analytics about how the app is used (such as which features are tapped and how often) to help us improve the product. This is collected via PostHog and does not include the contents of your drive logs.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and sync your drive log data across devices
- Identify your account and allow partner sharing via invite codes
- Improve app features and fix bugs using aggregated usage analytics
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to serve advertising or build advertising profiles.
Data storage and security
Drive log data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud database provided by Google LLC. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). Access to your data is protected by Firebase security rules that restrict reads and writes to authenticated users only.
We retain your account and drive log data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
Third-party services
Drive Hours uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google Sign-In / Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication and cloud data storage
- PostHog — anonymized product analytics
- Apple App Store — distribution and App Store analytics
Children's privacy
Drive Hours is designed for parents and adult supervisors. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can also delete the app at any time; this removes locally cached data from your device. To request deletion of your cloud-stored data, email us and we will remove your account and associated drive logs within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our apps after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
